Although the new book I have written with Jacob Laksin is not out officially until March 10, it has already come under heavy attack by femininists in the current issue of InsideHigherEd.com. My publisher will probably not appreciate my even discussing the book which is called One-Party Classroom: How Radical Professors Indoctrinate Students at America's Top Colleges and Undermine Our Democracy. You can buy it here now, cheaper than you can get it anywhere else. The book analyzes 150 college courses at 12 universities and demonstrates beyond the shadow of a doubt that radical activists posing as professors are indoctrinating America's students at an alarming rate (and you wondered where all those youth votes for Obama came from).
Among those attacking the book in InsideHigherEd is Professor Bettina Aptheker, Professor of Feminist Studies at UC Santa Cruz and virtual creator of this department and its academic program which is anything but. Aptheker attacks me as a non-scholar attempting to criticize people like her when obviously I and my co-author Jacob Laksin are incapable of understanding what scholarship is about. Readers of our book will realize that this is the kettle calling the pot black -- and actually worse.
Bettina Aptheker is an unrepentant Communist (capital C) who has no idea what scholarship is. Her PhD was given by a fraudulent program at UC Santa Cruz run by people like her Communist comrade Angela Davis for a collection of political rants which she had previously submitted to the Communist Party publishing house. They rejected it because they regarded Aptheker's marxist feminism as a deviation from their purer doctrine. Aptheker has never written a scholarly article in her life. Of course the InsideHigherEd column mentions none of this but you can read it all in the book.
