“United in Hate” Author to Speak Live in L.A. By: FrontPage Magazine
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, May 07, 2009

Dr. Jamie Glazov, author of "United in Hate: The Left's Romance With Tyranny and Terror," has been invited by the David Horowitz Freedom Center to deliver a speech at a book club event this upcoming thursday.

Glazov, the Editor of Frontpage Magazine, will speak and sign copies of his book at the Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles, Calif., at 7:30 p.m. May 14. Registration and reception begin at 7 p.m., and registrations can be made by e-mailing Stephanie Knudson at the Freedom Center.

Dr. Glazov’s new book has received a wide reception, earning critical acclaim and rising, at one point, to rank #275 on Amazon -- which made it a “bestseller” in Amazon’s standards. His television appearances have included a CBN interview with Erik Stackelbeck and C-Span Books -- that televised the Liddy program.

The reviews have been so numerous and contained such high praise, that World Net Daily has featured a review of the reviews, highlighting the top scholars’ comments on the book.

The praise has included the following:

President Reagan's national security adviser, Robert C. McFarlane, calls United in Hate a "must-read,” saying that it is "the redefining work for 21st Century readers of an eternal message."

President Reagan's assistant secretary of defense, Richard Perle, says, "Jamie Glazov rolls over left-wing intellectual pretensions with a Mack truck that handles like a Porsche. He rounds them up – and when he's finished, there's nothing left."

R. James Woolsey, former CIA chief, calls United in Hate a "courageous and illuminating book" that calls out the "Nazis and Stalinists of today."

Michael Ledeen declares that United in Hate should be "a basic text for students of modern mass movements and totalitarianism."

Joseph Farah, the Editor and Chief Executive Officer of WorldNetDaily, states: "This book is a work of sheer genius. I am so overwhelmingly impressed. It deserves to be read by millions. . . .a masterpiece."

Ronald Radosh, professor emeritus at the City University of New York, writes: "Jamie Glazov’s book is a major contribution to understanding the world we live in today, and the nature of the leftist opposition to those who see the need to confront the terrorists and defend democracy.

Robert Spencer, a scholar of Islam, states: "This superbly enlightening book should be required reading for the American and European policymakers that are not utterly beholden to the Left, for most of them have yet to come to grips with the Islamic supremacist agenda and its totalitarian imperative – which Glazov ably exposes.”

Brigitte Gabriel, a renowned terrorism expert and New York Times best-selling author, states: "'United in Hate' is a must-read for all Americans concerned with the future of America."

Within hours of its release, "United in Hate" was No. 1 among books relating to communism on Amazon.com.

It has remained at No. 1 until now.
