The image is a disturbing but totally expected one: Islamofascists doing the Nazi salute and Western leftists prostrating themselves before them and, sadder yet, sending them money.
There's been a long and ugly tradition of the left romancing tyrants and terrorists, and the Obama administration has now picked up the torch – flirting with Hamas and planning to hand over $900 million of American taxpayers' money into its blood-soaked hands.
Hamas, just in case you're new to the political scene, is the Palestinian Nazi Party. That's why its members do charming little things like engage in the Nazi salute. And that's why their favorite book of all time is "Mein Kampf." It's pretty easy for them to get their hands on it, seeing that Hitler's touching screed is a best-seller among Palestinians. Perhaps it's not a total surprise, therefore, that the not-so insignificant Article XI exists in Hamas' Charter, basically stating that the sole purpose of the organization is to exterminate Jews from the face of the earth and, of course, to annihilate the state of Israel. That's why Hamas has been terrorizing Israel and killing its innocent civilians for years, perpetrating suicide attacks and firing rockets consistently at the Jewish nation since 2001.
As we are well aware, Hamas intensified its campaign of genocide after Israel withdrew its troops from Gaza in 2005. It used the Israeli gesture of good will not to start building a functional society and to improve the lives of the Palestinian people, but as a launching pad for a dramatic increase in its firing of rockets into Israel.
