Obama Attacks U.S. at U.N. Posted at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 by David Horowitz
The U.S. President began his speech to an audience that included Ahmadinejad, Ghaddafi and Hugo Chavez by explaining, somewhat apologetically, that it was his responsibility to defend the interests of his nation. But since Barack Obama never opens his ....more
Irving Kristol Posted at 12:00 AM on Friday, September 18, 2009 by David Horowitz
The conservative movement has lost one of its wisest, most astute and most interesting thinkers -- a man who built important institutions of the movement in addition to writng some of its most astute texts. Irving was also a very generous man, and always welcomed younger conservatives like myself with a special warmth and encouragement. His most famous remark -- that a neo-conservative is a liberal who was mugged by reality -- is wholly typical of the kind of wit and insight that characterize ....more

Lessons of the Van Jones Affair: Democrats Are Comfortable With Communists, Racists and Anti-Semites Posted at 12:00 AM on Sunday, September 06, 2009 by David Horowitz
There is no more mystery about Van Jones. He was a passionate defender of cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal, a self-satisfied and described "Communist," a supporter of the destruction of the Jewish state, and a promoter of the theory that the Katrina tragedy was a white racist plot, and so forth. That's okay with Democratic chairman Howard Dean, and Obama's Environmental Quality Council head Nancy Sutley. (....more
How to Defeat the Left Posted at 12:00 AM on Thursday, September 03, 2009 by David Horowitz
I've been following the Newsreal debate between Phyllis Chesler and Jamie Glazov on the one hand and Naomi Wolf, who thinks America, the most "liberated" country on the face of the earth by any -- any -- progressive standard (treatment of minorities, of women, of the poor, freedom of the individual), is a ....more

To Have and Have Not: Alinsky, Beck, Satan and Me, Part IV Posted at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 by David Horowitz
The epigraph for the first chapter of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals which explains "The Purpose" of the rules is from the book of Job: "The life of man upon earth is a warfare..." For Alinsky and his Machiavellian radicals politics is war. No matter what they say publicly or pretend to be, they are at war. They are at war even though no other factions in the political arena ....more
Boring From Within: Alinsky, Beck, Satan and Me, Part III Posted at 12:00 AM on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 by David Horowitz
Conservatives think of war as a metaphor when applied to politics. For radicals the war is real. That is why partisans of the left set out to destroy their opponents, not just refute their arguments. It is also why they never speak the truth. Deception for them is a military tactic in a war that is designed to eliminate their opponents. ....more

Obama Gives Medal of Freedom to Anti-Semite Posted at 12:00 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2009 by David Horowitz
Currying favor with Jew-haters like Jeremiah Wright, Daniel Ortega, the Saudi princes and Hugo Chavez is apparently not enough for Barack Obama. Now he has given a Medal of Freedom to Mary Robinson the witch who organized the UN's own Krystallnacht in Durban several years ago. Here's an appropriate commentary by Jennifer Rubin. My only question is when are the Jews - ....more
Greta, Gates and the Obama Awakening Posted at 12:00 AM on Monday, July 27, 2009 by David Horowitz
This is my most recent Newsreal Blog, in case you haven't checked out our Newsreal Blog (to the right of the lead feature in today's Frontpage) -- you should. Greta covered the Gates story again. Obama Kills Civilians, Left Mum Posted at 12:00 AM on Sunday, July 26, 2009 by David Horowitz
American soldiers in Iraq this week killed a 14 year old Iraqi and several other civilians and wounded several children after being attacked by Islamic terrorists. There was not a peep out of the left, out of the peace left, out of the mainstream media, out of Bill Maher, out of the corrupt John Murtha over these killings. What this tells us is what we already knew -- the left, liberals g ....more
Racist Harvard, Gates Should Apologize Posted at 12:00 AM on Friday, July 24, 2009 by David Horowitz
I was on Glenn Beck yesterday to comment on the Henry Louis Gates fiasco. I blogged what I was going to say in advance on our new Newsreal Blog here. A reader of my blog claims that the fact that black males are more likely to come under suspicion than whites is an indication of the racism of law enforcement. First, not in this case. A black man was seen -- seen -- breaking into a house. In fact a black ma ....more
Judicial Liar Posted at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 by David Horowitz
As the hearings on Supreme Court nominee Sonya Sotomayor proceed the controversy focuses on whether she is a "judicial activist" or whether everyone is a judicial activist as the demagogic Democrats maintain. What the hearings have indisputably revealed is that she is a judicial liar. This turns out to be a legal version of the Trinity church caper. It's easy to see how a President who spent twenty years at the feet of a spiritual adviser who is an anti-Semitic racist and didn't h ....more
Darrell Issa and the Republicans File a False Report on the Origins of the Economic Meltdown Posted at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, July 08, 2009 by David Horowitz
Republican legislator Darrell Issa and the Republican staff of the Government Oversight Committee have put out a report on the cause of the economic meltdown that appears to be based on false premises and therefore draws false conclusions. Important victory on campus Posted at 11:34 AM on Monday, July 06, 2009 by David Horowitz
The left has such a stranglehold on campus life that the following scenario is being played out on campuses across the country. Conservatives invite a speaker -- leftwing fascists including pro-jihad Muslim groups attack the events, or threaten them, and the university assigns security to protect the students' safety. Then the university charges the victims for the security while leaving the fascists unpunished to do it all over again. I spoke at two universities -- Emory and the ....more
Jihadists Snub 4th in DC; Subprime loans were not the problem Posted at 12:00 AM on Sunday, July 05, 2009 by David Horowitz
I missed this article when it appeared in the American Thinker, but this description of the Islamic Society of North America's attempt to blot out the celebration of America's birthday -- no doubt a Nakba to them -- is worth reading. As I've noted before, Subprime loans -- or loans mainly to poor people with poor credit -- were not the cause of the great crash of 2008. The cause was no down paym ....more

Liberal Racists Take It on the Chin Posted at 12:00 AM on Monday, June 29, 2009 by David Horowitz
By a 5-4 decision the Supreme Court has reversed a Connecticut court ruling that a white fire fighter should be discriminated against on the basis of his skin color. Shocking as it may seem that racial preferences should be a contested issue in America in 2009, it is. After the death of Martin Luther King, the political left and the Democratic Party set out to institutionalize racism in American government and American law, and have been wildly successful at achieving their malodorous objec ....more
Silence of the liberals Posted at 2:04 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2009 by David Horowitz
Here's one scene from the historic revolt in Iran. Everything liberals pretend to be concerned about is on the line in Tehran today. Basic freedom to vote and have your vote counted; basic freedom to protest and not be killed. Even the style of the revolt is something for liberals to celebrate -- the Tweeter revolution, the women's revolution, the revolution of the young. But liberals are silent. They want their governmen ....more
Has there ever been a more disgraceful episode in the history of liberalism? Posted at 12:00 AM on Friday, June 19, 2009 by David Horowitz
The answer is probably. But nonetheless the spectacle of liberals urging the United States not to stand up for freedom when a historic revolution for freedom is struggling to be born in Iran is surely one of the most pathetic spectacles in the modern liberal record. Watching Keith Olbermann and Jonathan Alter this evening reach for every argument imaginable to justify their betrayal of the Iranian people, while mangling history in the process was unappetizing but instructive. Hope: Obama's Two-Edged Sword Posted at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 by David Horowitz
Everybody's talking about Bill Maher's rant against the great black hope for being too much talk and too little substance and for caring about what people think (imagine that! a politician who looks at the polls...). Here's my take. I've been concerned as readers of this column know with the gloom and dooming on the right by people who think Obama is the problem rather than the Democratic Party and political left, and who are convinced that because so many people think the president walks on wat ....more

A Reply to Some Comments Posted at 12:00 AM on Saturday, June 06, 2009 by David Horowitz
Many of the judgments passed on Obama's Cairo speechfrom the right have seized on particulars -- distorted historical references and false moral equivalences designed to position Obama as a mediator -- which have become an all too familiar feature of Obama's speeches. In doing so they have missed the forest for the trees. My friend Ron Radosh has written a blog which mischaracterizes what I wrote as an uncritical reading and a completely favora ....more
Obama Derangement Syndrome II; A Non-partisan plea for civility and equity Posted at 12:00 AM on Tuesday, June 02, 2009 by David Horowitz
I continue to get emails comparing President Obama to Hitler, the most recent suggesting that the murder of an abortion doctor might be Obama's "Reichstag Fire" and would be used by Obama to take away our civil liberties and terminate our Republic as Hitler did the Weimar Republic in the 1930s. This is lunatic stuff. Obama is better compared to Neville Chamberlain than to Adolf Hitler if you like these kinds of comparisons. Americans are not Germans -- it's a very big difference as far ....more

Memorial Day 2009 Posted at 12:00 AM on Monday, May 25, 2009 by David Horowitz
I spent Memorial Day at the National Veterans’ Cemetery in Los Angeles, where 86,000 soldiers are buried and remembered now as “fallen heroes.” It is an annual event sponsored by a committee of supporters of the cemetery  and veterans. Black Anti-Semites Recruited to Islam Posted at 12:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2009 by David Horowitz
My friend Phyllis Chesler has written a column about the recruitment of black anti-Semites in prison. The Black Muslim movement in America was racist and anti-Semitic in its origins and in no small measure began the re-legitimizing of Jew hatred in the American mainstream after it had been driven under a rock in the post-WW II era. Because blacks ....more
The Revolt Begins Posted at 12:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 by David Horowitz
California voters rejected five ballot measures that would have raised their taxes by billions of dollars to fund a massive budget deficit created by the Democratic legislature and the renegade Republican governor. The brain dead Republican Party supported these measures. The tax hikes were defeated by 60% majorities. At the same time, voters by a 76% majority, voted to punish legislators if they fail to balance the budget by witholding their salary raises. So 76% of California's liberal elec ....more

The Democrats' Thirty Year Assault On America's Security; Danny Can't Read Posted at 4:30 AM on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 by David Horowitz
Barack Obama's latest attacks on the CIA and the men and women who are protecting us from Islamic terrorists are but the most recent in a thirty year assault on America's national security by the Democratic Party. Beginning with Watergate and the Carter Administration, the Democrats have attempted to gut and hamstring the nation's national security apparatus. During the Iraq War they supported the destruction of three major national security programs by government employees breaking the Espionag ....more
Finally a university takes action against a faculty agitator in the classroom Posted at 9:48 AM on Monday, April 27, 2009 by David Horowitz
Finally universities are responding to the six-year campaign we have waged to restore academic standards to our universities and stop the political indoctrination of students in the classroom. The heart of this campaign is the effort to provide students with academic freedom rights so they can complain about professorial abuse in the classroom. Now our campaign is bearing fruit. At the University of California Santa Barbara, where I have spoken more than once and as recently as last spring, ....more
The Left Concedes the Academy Is Left; The Anti-Obama Peace March Posted at 10:59 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 by David Horowitz
A new liberal "study" has been published which at last admits that conservatives have been purged from academic faculties by an academic blacklist. Well not quite. It concedes that faculties are overwhelmingly left but doesn't explain how they got that way. At the same time it claims that the exclusion of conservatives from academic faculties has no impact in the classroom. Bad timing since Jacob Laksin an ....more

Do Liberals Help The Terrorists? Posted at 6:30 PM on Friday, January 23, 2009 by David Horowitz
Evidently they do. The seven year campaign to portray the terrorists incarcerated in Guantanamo and interrogated in CIA "black sites" as innocent victims of American repression has been more successful than its architects -- al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshots CAIR, the Muslim American Society, ISNA and other supporters of the jihad -- could have dreamed. Obama's Poet Laureate...Is (Let's Face It), Dreadful, Embarassing, a Zero Posted at 6:53 PM on Monday, December 22, 2008 by David Horowitz
I will get nothing but grief for making negative comments about Barack Obama's pick of a poet laureate, so let me say at the outset that the president-elect can hardly be faulted for making such a lousy choice, since Elizabeth Alexander has been lauded from one end of the academic literary culture to the other. Showered in honors by the current standard-makers of the high culture, there is no literary voice that I have been able to detect that has the artistic intelligence or alternati ....more
The Freedom Center Needs Your Help To Defend Our Country Posted at 11:20 AM on Sunday, December 14, 2008 by David Horowitz
The wolves of the left, sensing a new opening with a new administration, are circling. Dangerous organizations like ACORN and MoveOn.org feel that Obama's victory is theirs as well. Poisonous figures like George Soros, Louis Farrakhan, and Bill Ayers who have spent their lives trying to tear America down feel newly empowered by the election results. Anti-Semites of the jihad are licking their chops. Like their bloodthirsty comrades abroad, Islamo-Fascists here at home are ready to ....more
Liar in Chief Posted at 2:41 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2008 by David Horowitz
In a column on liar in chief Bill Ayers, the Nation's Katha Pollitt gets it almost right. The three dead criminals were part of the terrorist organization that Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn founded and were intent on blowing up a dance at Fort ....more

Answering My Critics: The Attempt to Unseat Obama by Appealing to 9 Unelected Officials Is a Radical Assault on the Constitution and the Rule of Law Posted at 11:40 AM on Sunday, December 07, 2008 by David Horowitz
I have become accustomed to the fact that when it comes to political issues people are averse to complexities and messy facts and prefer to argue ideological simplicities instead. Thus I am lectured by many that the Constitution matters, that it can't be subordinated to politics, etc., etc. Then I am told that I have gone ideologically soft, that I am an Obama Republican and that I am not a conservative. All because I have pointed out what should be some obvious truths. First, ....more
Obama Derangement Syndrome: Conservatives Need to Shut Up About the Birth Certificate. Also more on the subprime myth. Posted at 1:11 PM on Saturday, December 06, 2008 by David Horowitz
The continuing efforts of a fringe group of conservatives to deny Obama his victory and to lay the basis for the claim that he is not a legitimate president is embarrassing and destructive. The fact that these efforts are being led by Alan Keyes, an unhinged demagogue on the political fringe who lost a senate election to the then unknown Obama by 42 points should be a warning in itself. This tempest over whether Obama, the child of an American citizen, was born on American soil ....more
Conservative myths about the financial crisis Posted at 3:18 PM on Thursday, December 04, 2008 by David Horowitz
It seems like I've taken on the thankless task of keeping conservatives from behaving like liberals, acting like unpatriotic sore losers and attacking the legitimacy of the new commander-in-chief. As if that were not enough to boil the water, here's another issue on which conservatives have bent themselves out of shape, refusing to accept their share of responsibility for the financial crisis that is upon us. Contrary to conservative mythmakers, the subprime credit is not the cause of ....more
One More Try Posted at 7:50 AM on Wednesday, December 03, 2008 by David Horowitz
Without exception my critics seem to think there is a Law that is objective and just and beyond the reach of human influence and judgment. Would that were the case. But it is not. And both conservatives and liberals understand this when the shoe is pinching their foot and not the other guy's. What conservative thinks there is a right to privacy in the Constitution that justifies abortion? And how many liberals think the 5 justices who gave the 2000 election to George Bush were not deciding the F ....more
Rule of Law vs. Rule of the Demos Posted at 3:18 PM on Tuesday, December 02, 2008 by David Horowitz
Among the many attacks on my previous blog both abusive and not, one common theme seems to stand out. This is the claim that I have slighted the Rule of Law in favor of some misguided principle of democracy, which is not a conservative idea -- or so my critics would argue. My error is to have elevated the principle of majority rule over the rule of law. I believe the answer to these critics is already in my original blog. The Founders lodged authority for the institution of government no ....more
Birth certificate, Hussein name, Hillary garbage Posted at 1:55 PM on Monday, December 01, 2008 by David Horowitz
Conservatives need to get a grip. My email box is full of right wing trash talk (sorry, I'm peeved this morning) about Obama's fake birth certificate, his alleged covert Islamism and Hillary's scandals. Worse, we were running a frontpage story on this last wild goose until I canned it. Since not everybody is following me at this point, let's take them one at a time. First, the birth certificate. Is Obama a legitimate president of the United States? Well, let me put it ....more
WHITE GUILT IS DEAD (OR SHOULD BE) Posted at 2:41 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 by David Horowitz
Today's guest column:WHITE GUILT IS DEAD By Tom Adkins Look at my fellow conservatives! There they go, glumly shuffling along, depressed by the election aftermath. Not me. I'm virtually euphoric. For today, without a shred of intellectually legitimate ....more
Governing From the Center Posted at 3:33 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 by David Horowitz
In a series of announcements filling top level posts in his new administration, President-elect Barack Obama has signalled in unmistaken terms that he intends to govern from the center, or from the left-of-center, as circumstances will inevitably dictate given that Democrats now control all three branches of government.Although he ran as an enigma to such an unprecedented extent that one could never be sure in which direction he would turn there were clear indications that this migh ....more
No Clean Hands Posted at 5:43 PM on Sunday, November 23, 2008 by David Horowitz
I'm still getting a lot of emails and reading a lot of stories on the right about the subprime mortgage mess as the cause of the greatest financial meltdown in history. Look, I think Barney Frank is a brain dead socialist blowhard and should probably be in jail along with Franklin Raines and a raft of other crooks at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. But the subprime crisis could have happened and its bubble burst without causing the financial collapse we now find ourselves mired in. The cause of this ....more
A Historic Victory Posted at 11:16 PM on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 by David Horowitz
I went to my polling station to vote about 2:30PM. There was one person in line in front of me and my wait was about 2 seconds. So much for the paranoia about the suppression of the vote. There are always screwups at election time but it was not until Florida 2000 that these began to enter the folklore of conspiracy which is an American political religion. This year the paranoia got hot and heavy on both sides. Republicans were sure election fraud was going to rule the day and the Democrats woul ....more
Wash U Faculty Apologists for Terror Posted at 11:58 AM on Friday, October 31, 2008 by David Horowitz
Following Daniel Pipes speech at Washington U, St. Louis, a school which flatters itself as the "Harvard of the Midwest," a panel of Muslim and Leftist faculty assembled to libel Pipes and lend support to America's terrorist enemies by labeling the adversaries of terror "Islamophobes." Tonight It's Virginia Posted at 7:54 AM on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 by David Horowitz
I'm speaking at UVA tonight, and will watch the presidential debate with the students after my speech. Last night's talk at Central Michigan University went off without incident, probably because the left was attending a parallel event in which a Professor Fatah delivered a talk on how the Jews blew up the World Trade Center. This same professor was deported to his native Egypt a few years ago and then re-hired when the State Department gave him a new visa. Please read the articles by and ab ....more
Tonight I'm in Michigan; Campus Jihadists in North Carolina attempt to suppress Obsession Posted at 4:11 PM on Monday, October 13, 2008 by David Horowitz
Tonight I'm speaking at Central Michigan University a campus with 20,000+ students, while my colleague Robert Spencer is at Penn State. As usual the threat of violence from the campus left is great enough that the university administration has decided to assign security guards to the event. In an act that reveals how university administrators are enablers of the campus jihadists, the president of Central Michigan Michael Rao, has threatened the CMU students that have invited me with the bill for ....more
This week is Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week on 75+ college campuses Posted at 9:22 AM on Thursday, October 09, 2008 by David Horowitz
Students on 76 campuses have signed up to host events during our third “Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week.” This is an extraordinary turnout in a presidential election year when many student activists are campaigning for campuses. The theme of this fall's protest is "Stop the Jihad on Campus." Our targets are groups such as the Muslim Students Association which brings jihadist speakers to campus and their allies in the fifth column le ....more
UCI Professor LeVine: Shill For the Muslim Brotherhood Posted at 4:15 PM on Tuesday, October 07, 2008 by David Horowitz
The lead article in Frontpage today by Jacob Laksin exposes in genteel but highly effective prose the prevarications of a spokesmen for the Muslim Brotherhood and the professor who invited him to snooker University of California students into thinking that the fountainhead of the terrorist jihad against the West is a peaceful, democratic organization. How Obama Democrats Plan to Win the ElectionLetter to the Editor of the Springfield (PA) Press: Given the fact that Acorn has been in the news lately in association with Democratic Party add-ons to the proposed presidential economic bailout package, it might be useful for Springfield residents to be aware of that organization’s activities in our neighborhood. BARRACUDA Posted at 10:50 PM on Thursday, October 02, 2008 by David Horowitz
If one debate performance can breathe life into a dying campaign we saw one tonight. It was in a sense a reverse of the Obama-McCain debate where Obama just had to hold his ground to win. Sarah Palin gave a bravura performance that already has restored hope to the Republican ranks and will undoubtedly have ramifications in the polls. This may not win the elections for the Republicans but one thing is certain it has given them a leader who will shape their future. ....more
Many people are still talking through their hats (yeah, including me). Posted at 12:04 PM on Thursday, October 02, 2008 by David Horowitz
But here's an interview with Warren Buffett about the nature of the economic problem that confronts us. It's not about Wall Street; it's about the economy. The problem is liquidity and we are all at risk. The problem that created the problem is markets that were both over-regulated (guaranteed risk) and under-regulated (unlimited leveraging of bad mortgages) allowing greedy actors to spin out of reality and out of control. A bad loan problem could ha ....more
Beware of Talking Through Your Hat, Particularly About Economics Posted at 1:40 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 by David Horowitz
I have received a ton of emails of late with the YouTube video "Burning Down the House" identifying the Community Reinvestment Act as the cause of the current financial crisis. All of these emails without exception come from individuals who are not economists and who have no greater understanding of the economic crisis than the 99.8 percent of pontificators on global warming do about climatology. I think it is prudent to try to be a little more circumspect when sounding off on matters where ange ....more
The voters have spoken -- at least to the pollsters. Posted at 4:37 PM on Monday, September 29, 2008 by David Horowitz
The voters have spoken and it's not good for the McCain team. If you look at the RealClearPolitics track for Pennsylvania, you'll see that McCain has lost all his gains and is now almost five points behind, whereas on September 18, he was less than a point behind, which meant (in my humble estimation) that he would win the state and the election. Obviously the election isn't over, but just as obviously voters did not pay much attention to Obama's reaction shots as I wondered in my last blog ....more
The Debate's Crucial Subtext: Reaction Shots Posted at 10:49 PM on Friday, September 26, 2008 by David Horowitz
Call me strange but I think undecided and swing voters are more swayed by character than by issues. The issues voters are already committed. Watching the debate this evening I was struck by the inability of Obama to keep his cool when his positions were challenged by his opponent. During the second half of the debate he was rattled and lost his composure almost every time John McCain contested or contradicted what he said. Scowls, inappropriate smiles, shaking of the head, rude interruptions bet ....more
Time to Revise the Map, or at least to take a second look Posted at 9:12 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 by David Horowitz
"There's a lot of water yet to pass under the bridge -- events, debates, revised strategies." That was the loophole I created for myself when I predicted a McCain landslide. Obviously the most important of these unpredictables was events and obviously the biggest financial meltdown in the history of the world is an event-changing event all in itself. And that's what's happened. There's been a seven point shift in the polls from McCain to Obama since this crisis broke and since I made my predicti ....more
Here is the electoral map as it looks to me -- not close but a landslide in the making. Posted at 8:47 PM on Sunday, September 14, 2008 by David Horowitz
Not being a pollster I have little to lose by predicting the race, and of course there's a lot of water yet to pass under the bridge -- events, debates, revised strategies etc. But right now I don't see this as a close race. If the present trend holds, McCain-Palin will win 331 electoral votes to 203 for Obama-Biden. I think it's already evident that the current toss-up, lean-McCain and lean-Obama states likely to fall to McCain include Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Virginia ....more
Matt Damon Breathes Life Into Fifty Years of Communist Lies; the Rosenbergs are guilty, again. Posted at 1:22 PM on Thursday, September 11, 2008 by David Horowitz

It's called Jiu-Jitsu Alan Posted at 11:38 PM on Tuesday, September 09, 2008 by David Horowitz
Last night on H&C Colmes complained that the McCain-Palin team has "stolen" Obama's campaign theme of "change." Who knew that the election was going to be as entertaining as the Democratic primary. It's called jiu-jitsu Alan. They also stole your wallet: feminism. Without a gender gap, Democrats can't win -- and they won't. While we're on the subject of fun, here's one of the funniest columns I've read recently, called " ....more
The Strategy Posted at 8:45 AM on Friday, September 05, 2008 by David Horowitz
Whoever is architecting the McCain-Palin campaign is doing a brilliant job of it. With Palin anchoring the right, McCain is freed to be the "maverick" -- unloose his ship from its self-discredited Republican moorings and court the independents. "Country First" is a brilliant political slogan which manages to hold out the bi-partisan carrot while wielding the patriot stick. Underscoring the importance of the latter, Barack Obama's interview with Bill O'Reilly which preceded McCain's conve ....more
